Christmas 2008!

We had such a wonderful Christmas! It just went by too fast! Brody really enjoyed himself this year. He loved the fire engine that he got! He kept telling us "look at my real cute fire engine!" we even heard him telling it that he loved it! He is just so much fun. He was really fascinated that Santa ate all his cookies! Sawyer enjoyed the paper. She is such a happy baby, she now has two bottom teeth poking through. We are so thankful to the good Lord above for such a wonderful family. I can't wait to watch my children grow in this next new year, but then again I wish they would stay little! Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! and hope everyone has a blessed new year!

Sawyer is 6 months old!

I can't believe in 6 months my baby will be a year old! This year has just blown by! She officially has cut one of her bottom teeth today and the other looks like it will follow soon. She is sitting up with support and is doing great with all of her baby food. We have now been through all the fruits and veggies. She really is such a happy baby. Brody does really well with her. When she wears a dress he says "look at sister she is a princess." She weighs 16lbs and 10 oz. She is 69% for weight, 67% for height and 90% for her head ( we have fat heads in my family!). Thankful for a healthy 6months! She is such a blessing to our family.

Sawyer's Baptism

Sawyer was Baptised today at Shady Grove United Methodist Church. This is the church that Joel grew up in and I joined when Joel and I were dating. It really seems like the other day that we had Brody Baptised. Sawyer did great until the pastor started to walk away from me with her. It was a really nice service and we had alot of friends and family there. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends, family and church family. With the Christmas season upon us I hope we all remember what we are really celebrating! It is so easy to get wrapped up in the materialistic part of the season, I hope we all remember focus on one important Birthday!

Thanksgiving at Memaws

We did Thanksgiving a little late this year due to me and Joel's brother Mark both working on the holiday, so we celebrated on Saturday! We had a ton of food and we ate too much! I was really excited about some turkey and it was great. Brody and Sawyer had their turkey shirts on that we made from their hand prints. I got the idea from the girls at work (my friend Beth started it with her triplets) they were really cute! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Aunt Joan had a big box that her new washer came in and she fixed it for Brody. He loved it! Lots of time spent in the box today!

Sawyer is 5 months old!!!

It is hard to believe it has been 5 months since our baby girl was born! It seems to be going by even faster than it did when Brody was her age. She is such a sweet baby and smiles all the time! She is fascinated by her big brother and smiles every time he walks by.

Halloween 2008!

We had a great Halloween! We had to spread the festivities out over the week. We dressed up three times, at Mamaws, at Memaw's office and on Halloween night. My niece Karis joined us at Mamaws and this is the first picture we have of all our kids together! Brody is Bob the Builder and Sawyer is a beautiful flower! Brody did not feel the greatest on Halloween night, but he got in the spirit when he started getting the candy! Sawyer did not quite know what to think about her outfit but she sure looked cute. I had to take a picture of Sawyer in Brody's first Halloween costume just to compare the two!

Sawyer 4 months old!

Sawyer is 4months old! So hard to believe! This week she rolled from her back to her belly and is getting really mad that she can't figure out how to get back! The drooling has begun and she spends alot of her time chewing on her hands. When we took this picture she actually laughed out loud for the first time at her daddy!

The Great Pumpkin!

We went to the pumpkin patch last week to let Brody pick out a pumpkin. My friend Haley went with me (thank goodness) Brody was great but Sawyer did not like it! We left early but Brody did get his pumpkin and he loved it! We brought it home and he wanted to put it in the tub and the bed! The next day we carved the pumkin, here are some pics of our pumkin adventure!
