Snow Days!

Brody was so excited about the snow that we got this week! We played in what little we got in Dandridge on Monday afternoon and then on Tuesday we went to Pigeon Forge to Aunt Joanie's house. She had about 4 inches! Brody made a couple of snow angels and had to take his digger and dig in the snow. He tried to slide down a hill on his bottom, but it did not work very well (we did not have a sled). When we finished we came in and he had some hot cocoa with marshmallows. Aunt Joan made some wonderful soup and we had a great visit with her, Hulet and Nana! Sawyer was worn out from all the activity! We had a wonderful time!

Sawyer is crawling!!!

Sawyer started crawling on Monday! I knew it was going to happen soon, but I was still kinda sad when it did. She is just growing up too fast! The next morning I went into her room and she was standing up in her crib! Life should get even more interesting now with a 2 1/2 year old and a crawling baby... but that is just how we like it!

80's Skating Party

My friend Sunni turned 30 on Saturday and she had her party at a roller rink with an 80's theme! It was a blast! Blue eyeshadow, pink blush, and of course the outfit! I had such a great time getting ready! Joel did not dress up but we all had a great time remembering how to skate! I fell, but only once!

Sawyer 7 months old!

Another month has flown by! Sawyer is growing too fast! She has two bottom teeth now and I think she is working on some top teeth. She weighs about 18 pounds and looks like she will start crawling any day! She gets up on her hands and knees, but then she ends up dragging herself over to what she wants. This time last month she was barely sitting up and now she has mastered it! She loves her baby food and has become quite the little eater (just like her brother!) She is such a sweet little girl! We are so thankful for her!

Bath Time!

Brody and Sawyer took their first bath together the other night. If you see that orange bucket in the picture I bet you can guess what Brody did with it! Yep! before I could stop him he poured it over Sawyer's head! She did not seem to mind.

Brody... The jaybird!

Brody has decided lately that he needs to be naked! At least 2 times a day recently he takes all of his clothes off and runs through the house! He says "look at me mommy, I am a jaybird." This morning found him sitting in his chair naked watching his favorite show Wow Wow Wubbzy! He is always entertaining!

Christmas 2008!

We had such a wonderful Christmas! It just went by too fast! Brody really enjoyed himself this year. He loved the fire engine that he got! He kept telling us "look at my real cute fire engine!" we even heard him telling it that he loved it! He is just so much fun. He was really fascinated that Santa ate all his cookies! Sawyer enjoyed the paper. She is such a happy baby, she now has two bottom teeth poking through. We are so thankful to the good Lord above for such a wonderful family. I can't wait to watch my children grow in this next new year, but then again I wish they would stay little! Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! and hope everyone has a blessed new year!
