Brody's 3rd Birthday!

Brody turned 3 Monday! It just seems like the other day that my water broke on that Thursday morning. Where does the time go? We had his birthday party Saturday, it was fun but we had a hard time getting him to nap before the party so he was pretty tired. His Memaw found him a john deere gator that he LOVES!! He wants to play on it all the time. The day after his party he walked outside and said "good morning gator." On Monday after he enjoyed his "pancake sandwich" he went to mothers day out and I brought cupcakes so he could celebrate his birthday with all his school friends. As active and difficult as he can be sometimes he is even more sweet! we are so blessed to have him!

Busy Summer!

We have had a great summer so far! This past week I have enjoyed a baby shower for my friend Jaymie who is expecting her little girl in August, then my niece Karis had her 2nd birthday party! I cant believe she is 2!! She is such a sweetie. Brody could hardly keep his hands off her cake. Of course in the midst of all these activities I am planning Brody's 3rd birthday and enjoying spending time with my wonderful family! I love having parties so this works good for me. Sawyer is apparently going to be like her mother and brother and climb on everything! I found her in the middle of the kitchen table and she was having a great time. We are so blessed to have 2 wonderful kids and great friends and family! God is good!!

July 4th!

We had a great 4th of July celebration. We started out the day with Brody in a parade riding on his mothers day out float. He did not like waiting for the parade to start, but once it did he enjoyed throwing candy to everyone, and surprisingly did not want to eat any of it. After the parade we gathered at the Cavanah's home for some great food and fellowship (thanks Ryan and Jenn). The kids played all day and had a great time. When we got home Brody got to watch some fireworks from out porch, he loves them. This is the first year he has really watched them. God is good!

Happy Birthday Sawyer Ann!

This is so late! Our little girl turned 1 on June 9th! We had her party on the following Saturday. I have had a hard time with her turning 1. I guess because we aren't sure if she will be our last. I just cannot believe how fast this past year has gone by. She is such a sweet girl and we are so blessed to have her and her big brother! God has really blessed us. She had a great party and really enjoyed her cake! Happy Birthday baby girl!!!

Happy Birthday Joel!

Joel's Birthday was June 6th, I had to work so we celebrated when I got home with some key lime pie! (Joel's favorite). Brody helped him blow out his candle and helped him eat it. Happy Birthday to Joel!!

My Dad and step mom came by to visit on their motorcycle. Brody and Sawyer had to sit on it and blow the horn. We had a great visit with them, Brody always enjoys showing off "his" garden.

Sawyer was enjoying some mini ravioli (what was I thinking!!!?). I am sure you can imagine it took a while to get her clean!

Fun in the Garden

Papaw was tilling up the garden yesterday and Brody was all about it! He loves the tiller! Papaw accidentally tilled up some broccoli and Brody carried it around the garden with him. Sawyer had been in the pool and then we went to the garden and she loved playing in the dirt and sitting on Brody's mower! It was a wonderful day! God is good!

Just a few pics of Brody and Sawyer having fun outside in our little pool. She really liked the pool, but hated the sprinkler! Brody would not stay still long enough to get a good picture of him, maybe next time! I was just really excited to see Sawyer in her bathing suit! How cute!
