Sawyer 11 months old!!

So hard to believe that I am already posting her 11 months picture! She started walking everywhere yesterday! It is so cute to watch. I really think I am going to have a harder time with her turning one than I did when Brody did. She has had a hard time this month cutting teeth, but she is still so sweet, and such a happy girl. She now says, momma, daddy, baby, doggie, uh oh and weee! She has developed quite the temper. She has a meltdown most of the time when she has her diaper changed. I really do feel like I was just pregnant with her the other day! Where does the time go?!

Silly Faces!

Here are a few recent pictures. We have another large garden this year and we are really excited about it! Brody and I spent alot of time last week digging for worms in the garden. He would dig in the dirt all day if he could! I cant wait for some fresh veggies. Mamaw says she will come over and help me can some things, I am really looking forward to that! We actually share the garden with Joel's mom and stepdad. Mike and Margie have actually done all the planting so far, hopefully I will be able to help more this year than I did last year (new baby kept me a little busy!). Brody was enjoying making some silly faces for the camera

and then looking at them on the camera screen! Sawyer is still just taking a few steps but has not taken off just yet, she is saying "uh oh" and "doggie"! So cute! I tried giving her a bath in the sink one day, she liked it a first and then she was over it! Oh well, I will have to try again soon!

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter! Brody and I dyed eggs on Friday, which he wanted to hide right then! It is hard for a little boy to wait. On Saturday night when I got off work we made cupcakes with Easter sprinkles (of course!). Brody and Sawyer both enjoyed their Easter baskets on Sunday morning. It was difficult to keep Brody from eating all the candy at once!! After church and a great message about living the "Resurrection" life, we spent time with family and hid eggs. Brody had difficulty understanding why he could not hide and find the eggs! My niece Karis really enjoyed hunting eggs. We are so blessed! and what better day than Easter to be reminded of our blessings and what our Lord and Savior did for us! I hope everyone had a great Easter!

Sawyer 10 months old!

Another month has flown by! Our girl now has her 2 top teeth for a total of 4 teeth! She has taken about 1 1/2 steps on her own but she is not brave enough to let go and try to walk longer than that yet. She is such a sweet girl. If Brody is laying on the floor she crawls over to him as fast as she can and lays on him and giggles like its the best thing ever! She has a plugged tear duct in her left eye and we saw the pediatric eye doctor this week. She will be on steroid eye drops and oral antibiotics for about 4 weeks, hopefully that will clear it up if not she will have the tear duct probed while under anesthesia. Brody is doing well. We have started back to mothers day out and he is doing well with that. We are still working on the potty training! He is the most entertaining child! He was laying with Joel and I the other night and said "we are best friends aren't we?" How precious is that?! I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend! It has been interesting trying to explain the resurrection to a 2 1/2 yr old but we are getting there! I hope everyone remembers the sacrifice that Jesus made for our sins!

Sawyer is 9 months old!!!

It is hard to believe that Sawyer is 9 months old today!! She went for her 9 month check up today and she weighs 20 pounds! She has the cutest little fat legs, I just love them! She is getting ready to get another top tooth. She ate beans, potatoes and corn bread yesterday for the first time. She really seemed to enjoy it. She is cruising all the furniture and even lets go and stands alone some. She is just so sweet!

Julie's 30th Birthday!

Saturday night a bunch of us got together to celebrate Julie's 30th birthday! (wow she is getting old! HA!) We had a great time. The house was beautiful and we had a great time eating, doing pedicures, facials, and talking till 3am! Lots of fun! Hope we can do it again soon!

Sawyer is 8 months old!!!

I cant believe it is already February! Sawyer is doing great! crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything! She is pretty brave, she lets go sometimes to see if she can balance. She loves to babble Da Da! I keep trying to get her to say Ma Ma, but she does not feel the need to say my name yet (although I am her favorite!). We have enjoyed the past few days of warm weather and can't wait for spring to get here. Brody is doing well and is always saying something funny! We have been working on potty training, some days he pees in the potty 2 or 3 times and some days none. We will get there eventually. As always I feel that time is just going by too fast and my babies are growing up too quick! We just have to cherish every minute!
